The 2019 London Marathon will take place today as more than 40,000 people of varying abilities tackle the 26.2-mile course.
Four-time Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah is looking to win the elite men’s race for the first time, but will face stiff competition from last year’s winner Eliud Kipchoge, who also holds the world record following a stunning run in Berlin seven months ago.
The elite women’s race also contains a world class line-up, with defending champion Vivian Cheruiyot, three-time winner Mary Keitany and track great Tirunesh Dibaba among those involved.
Gabby Logan will be live on BBC Two at 8.30am, before coverage moves over to BBC One at 10.00am.
Gabby will be joined by Radzi Chinyanganya, Jeanette Kwakye, Steve Brown and JJ Chalmers, while commentary comes from Steve Cram, Andrew Cotter, Tanni Grey-Thompson and Paula Radcliffe.
