Liverpool host RB Leipzig this evening in a round-of-16 second-leg of UEFA Champions League 2020/21.

The tie will take place at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, where Liverpool are well placed to reach a third UEFA Champions League quarter-final in four seasons as they have a 2-0 cushion to defend.

The first leg was the first ever fixture between the two teams. Mohamed Salah (53) and Sadio Mane (58) with the goals early in the second half.

Leipzig are in the UEFA Champions League knockout rounds for the second time after their debut appearance in 2019/20.

They finished second behind Paris Saint-Germain in Group H thanks to a dramatic Matchday 6 victory against Liverpool’s domestic rivals Manchester United.

Liverpool, meanwhile, came first in Group D, winning four of their six matches to reach this stage for the fourth season in a row.

Tonight’s match is live on BT Sport 2 from 7.00pm with live streaming on and via the BT Sport App.

Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona’s second-leg tie will be shown live on BT Sport 3 from 7.30pm.

Both games kick-off at 8.00pm.
