Izzy Bizu’s modern version of Edith Piaf’s classic French song La Foule will be the theme tune for the BBC’s Euro 2016 TV coverage.
“It’s a fitting tribute to one of France’s greatest stars,” said Chris Grubb, BBC Football creative lead.
The song, which features the BBC Concert Orchestra, will be used as the opening sequence for all the BBC’s programmes for France 2016.
The song will first be played on Breakfast on BBC One on Monday from 6.00am, while the song will also feature on the BBC iPlayer from Monday.
It’ll also feature in a special Euro 2016 preview show on Wednesday 8th June on BBC One at 10.45pm.
