Indy 500 - 2021

The Indianapolis 500 will take place this Sunday with live coverage on NBC and Sky Sports F1.

This is the 105th running of the 500 and will take place at the Indianapolis Speedway in Speedway, Indiana.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held with a limit of 135,000 spectators, approximately 40% capacity.

Takuma Sato averaged 157.724 mph last year en route to his second Indy 500 checkered flag in the last four years.

NBC’s coverage gets underway at 11am ET, where Mike Tirico is joined by former INDYCAR driver Danica Patrick.

Natalie Pinkham, Tom Gaymor and F1 driver Lando Norris will front Sky Sports F1’s coverage from 3.45pm BST.

Race commentary comes from Leigh Diffey, Kevin Lee, Townsend Bell, Paul Tracy, Jon Beekhuis, Robin Miller.
