The German Grand Prix takes place this weekend as the 2016 Formula One season continues.

This will be the 12th round of the season, which comes from Hockenheimring, as the race takes place for the first time in two years, following it’s late withdrawal from the Formula One calendar last year.

Nico Rosberg triumphed here in 2014, the first time that the German had taken the chequered flag at his home Grand Prix. He comes into this race six points behind his teammate and main title challenger, Lewis Hamilton.

All five sessions – practices, qualifying and the race – will be shown live on Sky Sports F1, while Channel 4 will show highlights of qualifying and the race.

Qualifying starts at 1pm on Saturday afternoon, and the race goes off at 1pm on Sunday afternoon.
