France v Australia is the first of four fixtures to take place today (Sat, Day 3) in World Cup 2018.

This Group C contest, which will takes place at the Kazan Arena in Russia, will be shown live on BBC One, where Mark Chapman presents.

Les Bleus qualified for the finals with relative ease, finishing top of their group ahead of Sweden, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Luxembourg and Belarus.

The Socceroos finished behind Japan and Saudi Arabia in their qualification group, and overcame Honduras 3-1 in a two-legged play-off to reach their fourth consecutive World Cup finals.

The countries have met only four times before, with their most recent match finishing 6-0 to France in a friendly back in October 2013.

Franck Ribery, Olivier Giroud, Yohan Cabaye, Mathieu Debuchy and Karim Benzema were the scorers on that occasion at the Stade de France.
