The match comes from Goodison Park, as the sides battle it out for a place in the semi-finals.
Everton have already defeated the Londoners here once this term, prevailing 3-1 in the Premier League in September.
However, the Toffees’ hat-trick hero on that day, Steven Naismith, is no longer at the club, and Chelsea’s form has improved considerable since Gus Hiddink took temporary charge in December.
The sides have been paired together nine times in the FA Cup – with Chelsea prevailing in six of those ties, and Everton advancing on three occasions.
However, Chelsea have never won an FA Cup game at Goodison Park. The sides last met in the competition in 2011, when Everton went through after winning a fourth-round replay at Stamford Bridge via a penalty shoot-out.
Coverage starts at 5.20pm on BBC One and BBC One HD, where Gary Lineker will be joined live in the studio by Alan Shearer, Ruud Gullit and Kevin Kilbane.
