The eighth round of the 2016 Formula One season takes place this weekend at the Baku City Circuit in Azerbaijan.

The organisers claim this is the fastest street circuit on the calendar, which could prove for an exciting race as the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Daniel Ricciardo, Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel battle for precious championship points.

Nico Rosberg comes into this weekend leading the drivers’ championship with a nine point lead over fellow Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton.

While Lewis has won the last two races, Nico only managed seventh in Monaco and a fifth place in Canada last time out.

All five sessions – three practices, qualifying and the race (2pm start) – will be shown live on Channel 4 and Sky Sports F1. Both channels will also air highlights of the race on Sunday evening.

Sky Sports F1 will be without Martin Brundle once again this weekend as he is taking part in the Le Mans 24 support race. Martin missed the Canadian GP last weekend due to illness.
