The FA Cup

Wayne Rooney will come face-to-face with his former side Manchester United, as they travel to Pride Park to take on Derby County in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Derby have lost their past eight FA Cup ties against Manchester United, most recently in the third round in 2018.

The last time they beat the Red Devils in the competition was in the quarter-finals of the 1896-97 campaign.

Manchester United were eliminated by Derby the last time the sides met in any competition, with the Rams winning a penalty shootout in last season’s Carabao Cup.

The winners will travel to Norwich City in the quarter finals later this month.

The match will be shown live on BT Sport 1 with live streaming on BTSport.com and via the BT Sport App.

Kick-off 7.45pm.

Highlights will be shown on BBC Two from 11.15pm.
