Denmark v Australia is the first of three games to be played today as World Cup 2018 continues.
ITV will broadcast all the action from both sides’ second Group C encounter, which takes place at Samara Arena in Samara, Russia.
The Danes won their opening fixture against Peru on Saturday, with Yussuf Poulsen’s strike enough to clinch all three points. Australia played well against France, but were edged out 2-1 by Didier Deschamps’ men, so they know a positive result here is imperative to their chances of qualifying.
Both of these countries will be looking to make a bigger impact on this tournament than they did in their most recent appearances.
Denmark last qualified in 2010, registering only one victory against Cameroon and exiting at the end of the group stage in South Africa.
The Socceroos played at the 2014 finals in Brazil, but lost all three of their games against Chile, the Netherlands and Spain and finished bottom of Group B.
These sides have only met three times in the past, and have never played each other competitively. Their most recent friendly match came in June 2012, with goals from Daniel Agger and Andreas Bjelland earning the Danes a 2-0 victory in Copenhagen.
Jacqui Oatley will be live on ITV and ITV HD from 12.30pm, where she’ll be joined in the studio by Slaven Bilic, Martin O’Neill and Eni Aluko.
Match commentary comes from Jon Champion and Ally McCoist.
The match will also be streamed live via the ITV Hub.
