Channel 4 drops National Football League (NFL) coverage?

It looks like there’ll be no National Football League on Channel 4 this year, according to ‘The American Football Show’ host Vernon Kay.

“4 all those asking @Channel4 have decided NOT to show ANY NFL this year… An alternative will be found. Such a shame,” he tweeted.

No announcement has been made by Channel 4 or NFL UK to officially confirm that the broadcaster has dropped NFL coverage from its schedule.

Channel 4 was to show the Sunday Night Football programme, which airs on NBC in the States, every weekend of the NFL season. It was also scheduled to show the NFL International Series – three games from Wembley Stadium – and Super Bowl 50 on 7th February 2016.
