The ninth round of the 2022 Formula One championship takes place this weekend at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada.

The Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez enter this weekend first and second in the Drivers’ championship with Max on 150 points, and his team mate Sergio on 129.

The Ferrari of Charles Leclerc is in third place with 116 points, while Brit George Russell is fourth on 99 points.

All five sessions – practices, qualifying, and the race – will be shown live on Sky Sports F1, while highlights of quali and the race will air on Channel 4 on Sunday.

Qualifying starts at 9.00pm UK time, while the race gets underway at 7.00pm.
