The 2022 Commonwealth Games will take place in Birmingham from 28th July to 8th August 2022.
The event is being held twenty years after the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games and on the tenth anniversary of London 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics.
Birmingham was announced as host on 21 December 2017, marking England’s third time hosting the Commonwealth Games after London 1934 and Manchester 2002.
The BBC will broadcast more than 200 hours of live coverage across BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Three.
Daily coverage will begin on BBC One each morning as Jason Mohammad and Holly Hamilton present the live action. Hazel Irvine will then take over presenting duties each afternoon.
Covering the live events in the evening will be Clare Balding, with Gabby Logan joining for all the athletics events.
Ayo Akinwolere will present further live coverage from 7pm onwards on BBC Three.
