The 13th round of the 2016 Formula One season takes place this weekend at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
Britain’s Lewis Hamilton dominated the weekend here last year, converting pole position into a race win – his sixth of the season at that point – which extended his lead over Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg to 28 points. Hamilton would go on to pick up a second successive world championship trophy and third in total.
Lewis comes into this weekend with a 19 point lead over fellow team mate Rosberg and 84 points clear of third-place man Daniel Ricciardo.
All five sessions – three practices, qualifying and the race (1pm start) – will be shown live on Channel 4 and Sky Sports F1. Both channels will also air highlights of the race on Sunday evening.
Sky Sports F1’s coverage of qualifying and the race will be simulcast on Sky’s new sports channel ‘Sky Sports Mix‘ — The channel is available to all Sky customers at no extra cost.
