The 2022 Formula One season gets underway this weekend at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.

Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes was victorious here last season, with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen coming second, and those two were to battle it out for the title throughout the campaign.

Verstappen eventually coming out on top to end Hamilton’s run of four consecutive drivers championship titles.

All five sessions – practices, qualifying and the race – will be shown live on Sky Sports F1, while highlights of quali and the race will air on Channel 4.

Qualifying and the race start at 3.00pm.
