Sky Sports will broadcast live Carabao Cup action this evening as Aston Villa host Liverpool.
This quarter-final contest takes place at Villa Park, where Liverpool wiil bring an under-strength team for the tie due to their commitments in the Club World Cup in Qatar.
This will be Dean Smith’s side’s first appearance in the quarter-finals since the 2012/13 season, whilst Liverpool haven’t reached this point in the competition since the 2016/17 campaign.
The Reds haven’t won this competition since 2012, when they defeated Cardiff City on penalties.
Coverage starts at 7.30pm on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event with live streaming via Sky Go and Now TV.
Sky will also air the quarter final clash between Oxford United and Manchester City from 7.30pm on Wednesday evening.
