The iconic 24 hours of Le Mans takes place this week with live TV coverage on Eurosport.

This year marks the 84th edition of the world’s oldest and most famous endurance race and the grid looks stronger than ever in 2016, with ex-F1 drivers, Mark Webber, Anthony Davidson and Sebastien Buemi all set to compete.

Last year’s race saw Porsche secure their first victory since 1998 with a one-two finish. British driver Nick Tandy, Germany’s Nico Hulkenberg and Earl Bamber of New Zealand won in the number 19 car.

Britain’s most successful Olympian ever, Chris Hoy, joins compatriot Michael Munemann and Frenchman Andrea Pizzitola in the Ligier JS P2-Nissan car to race for the Algarve Pro Racing team.
