The final of Euro 2024 will take place on Sunday Night (14th July).

It sees England take on Spain at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany.

Spain have widely been considered the most impressive team in the tournament, topping a group containing Italy, Croatia and Albania with a 100 per cent record, and then overcoming Georgia, Germany and France in the knockout rounds.

They will now look to become record four-time winners, having previously lifted the trophy in 1964, 2008 and 2012.

England came desperately close to their first major trophy in men’s football since the 1966 World Cup, but eventually lost on penalties at Wembley Stadium, with Gianluigi Donnarumma saving Bukayo Saka’s effort to seal victory for the Italians, who were eliminated by Switzerland in the last 16 this time around.

This time around they haven’t been at their best for much of the tournament, but have found a way to win, including in a dramatic conclusion to the semi-final against the Netherlands, which was sealed late on thanks to a goal by substitute Ollie Watkins.

The match will be shown live on BBC One and ITV1 from 6.30pm.

Gary Lineker will front the BBC’s coverage where he will be joined by Rio Ferdinand, Micah Richards and by Spanish International and Euros winner Juan Mata.

Match commentary comes from Guy Mowbray and Alan Shearer. Alex Scott and Kelly Somers will be pitch side soaking up all the atmosphere and anticipation for the historic game.

Over on ITV, Mark Pougatch will be joined by Gary Neville and Ian Wright. Match commentary comes from Sam Matterface, Lee Dixon and Ally McCoist.

Pitch side reports comes from Laura Woods and Karen Carney.

Kick-off 8.00pm.

The match will also be streamed live via the BBC iPlayer and ITVX.
