England on ITV

ITV1 will broadcast the UEFA Euro 2025 qualifier between England and Republic of Ireland this evening.

This Group A3 match will take place at Carrow Road in Norwich.

England prevailed 2-0 in April’s reverse fixture in Dublin thanks to a strike by Lauren James and an Alex Greenwood penalty.

They will be favourites to win once again as they have been involved in a closely fought battle to qualify with France and Sweden, while the Republic are without a win in the group so far.

Katie Shanahan will be live on ITV1 and ITV1 HD from 7.30pm, where she will be joined in the studio by Anita Asante and Eni Aluko.

Match commentary comes from Seb Hutchinson and Lucy Ward.

Kick-off 8.00pm.

And there’s more England action over the weekend as Channel 4 broadcasts restored footage of the 1966 world cup final in its entirety. The original black and white recording has been transferred to full colour for the first time and will play out at 4.30pm.

Then on Sunday, England’s men take on Spain in the final of Euro 2024. The match will be shown on BBC One and ITV1 from 8pm.
