The 2024 British Grand Prix will take place this weekend at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, England.

It will be the twelfth round of the 2024 Formula One World Championship and the 74th running of the British Grand Prix as a round of the Formula One World Championship.

Max Verstappen came into the weekend with 237 points and an 81-point lead over Lando Norris, having caused a collision in the prior race that compromised their results.

Charles Leclerc trailed Norris by 6 points after failing to score points in the previous Grand Prix.

Red Bull Racing entered the event with 355 points, 64 more than Ferrari and a further 23 more than McLaren.

All five sessions – practices, qualifying and the race – will be shown live on Channel 4 and Sky Sports F1. Both networks will offer highlights too.

Qualifying and the race will begin at 3.00pm.
