Sky Sports will broadcast a double-header of league cup football this week as the quarter-finals of the 2017/18 Carabao Cup take place.

On Tuesday night Leicester City host Manchester City at King Power Stadium.

The visitors have been in excellent form in the league this term, but were held to a goalless draw by Wolverhampton Wanderers in the previous round before prevailing on penalties, while Leicester have already claimed the scalp of Liverpool here in this season’s competition.

Coverage starts at 7.30pm on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event. Kick-off 7.45pm.

On Wednesday Manchester United travel to Ashton Gate to take on Championship side Bristol City.

The Robins have been in good form so far this season and have already claimed two Premier League scalps in Watford and Stoke City, but United – the current holders – will still go into the match as strong favourites.

Coverage starts at 7.30pm. Kick-off 8.00pm.

Highlights of these two matches and Arsenal v West Ham United at Emirates Stadium and Chelsea v Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge will be shown on Channel 5’s highlights programme on Wednesday Night.

Colin Murray will be on Channel 5 from 10.55pm.
