The road to Wrestlemania 32 official begins this Sunday as World Wrestling Entertainment host its 29th annual Royal Rumble.

It will take place on 24 January 2016 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, and will be the fifth Royal Rumble to be held in the state of Florida.

Roman Reigns will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the Royal Rumble match. This will be the first time that a reigning champion has defended his title during the match and the second time – after the 1992 event – that the title will be on the line.

Six matches have been confirmed for the event so far, including:

Darren Young and Damien Sandow vs. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) vs. The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) vs. Mark Henry and Jack Swagger
Fatal four-way tag team match to qualify for the Royal Rumble match

Royal Rumble 2016 match
30-man Royal Rumble match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Kevin Owens
Last Man Standing match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Kalisto
Singles match for the WWE United States Championship

Charlotte (c) (with Ric Flair) vs. Becky Lynch
Singles match for the WWE Divas Championship

The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston and/or Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso)
Tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship

The event will be shown live in the UK on Sky Sports Box Office with live streaming on the WWE Network

It will be shown on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) and Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 492) at 1am on Sunday 24 January (Mon morning).

And will be repeated on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) but not Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 492) between 9am on Monday 25 January and 9pm on Thursday 28 January 2016.

Repeat showings will last for three hours, with the final showing Starting at 9pm on Thursday 28 January.

The event is priced at £19.95 for UK viewers and €24.95 for viewers in the Republic of Ireland.
