Spanish Grand Prix 2019 – Live TV Coverage on Sky Sports F1, Highlights on Channel 4

The fifth round of the 2019 Formula One season continues this weekend at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

Lewis Hamilton was the winner here last year.

That was the Mercedes star’s second consecutive victory, and the third time overall he has taken the chequered flag, and should he triumph this year he’ll become the second most successful driver at this Grand Prix, trailing only Michael Schumacher who registered six wins.

Valtteri Bottas enters this weekend as the Drivers’ Championship leader with 87 points – one point clear of his teammate Lewis Hamilton (86).

All five sessions – three practices, qualifying and the race – will be shown live on Sky Sports F1, while highlights of qualifying and the race will be shown on Channel 4.

The action gets underway at 10am on Friday morning with free practice 1. Sky Sports F1 will be live on air from 9.45am.

Sky Sports F1 will be back at 1.45pm for the second free practice session, which starts at 2pm.

The third practice session begins at 11am on Saturday morning, live on Sky Sports F1 from 10.45am.

This is followed by qualifying (2pm start) with live coverage on Sky Sports F1 from 1.00pm. Highlights will air on Channel 4 from 7.30pm.

Sky Sports F1’s main race coverage starts at 12.30pm on Sunday afternoon, while Channel 4’s highlights programme is on at 7.00pm.
