The third round of the 2019/20 Carabao Cup takes place this week.

Two ties will be broadcast live on Sky Sports including the South Coast derby between Portsmouth and Southampton.

The match, which takes place on Tuesday evening, comes from Fatton Park, and will be the first head to head between the two sides in seven years.

Portsmouth will be without striker Ellis Harrison because of suspension. He was sent off after collecting two yellow cards in the 1-0 defeat at Wycombe on Saturday, so must serve a one-match ban.

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has vowed to send out the “best possible team” at Fratton Park. However, Moussa Djenepo remains unavailable as he continues to recover from a muscle issue.

Match coverage gets underway at 7.30pm on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event with live streaming via Sky Go and Now TV.

Kick-off 7.45pm.

Liverpool’s visit to MK Dons on Wednesday evening will also be shown live on Sky Sports from 7.30pm.

Highlights of all third round ties will be shown on free-to-air channel, Quest, from 10.30pm on Wednesday night.
