The 2018-19 National Football League season gets underway tonight as the Atlanta Falcons travel to the Super Bowl Champions, Philadelphia Eagles.
The match will be shown live on Sky Sports, and will be the first of six games to be televised by Sky on this opening weekend.
49ers @ Vikings (6pm) and Cowboys @ Panthers (9.25pm) take place on Sunday evening, while the Packers host the Bears on the Sunday Night Football (1.30am Mon morning).
For opening weekend only, a double dose of NFL action will take place on Monday Night with Jets @ Lions (12.10am) and Rams @ Raiders (3.20am).
As for tonight’s game: Matt Ryan threw for 4,095 yards to lead Atlanta to a 10-6 regular season record in 2017.
Philadelphia, the defending Super Bowl champion, has won the two previous meetings with the Falcons, including a 15-10 win in last year’s NFC Divisional Round.
The match kicks-off at 1.30am UK time, 8.30pm ET in the States.
