Pete Graves

Pete Graves – born 7 April 1982 in Hexham, Northumberland – is a British television presenter working for British Sky Broadcasting.

Pete joined the sports department at ITV Tyne Tees signing a one-year contract with ITV.

He made his television debut as a freelance sports correspondent/presenter on ITV’s North East Tonight in February 2008.

Pete’s first appearance as a reporter on national television came on 4 September 2008 when he appeared on the ITV Lunchtime News to announce that Kevin Keegan had resigned as Newcastle United manager.

In February 2009 Pete joined Sky Sports News as a reporter. However, from June 2009 he was used mainly as a Presenter.

In September 2010 Pete appeared for the first time on Sky News presenting the sports headlines.

On 23 March 2011, Pete presented his first live association football match on Sky Sports. It was the Victory Shield game between Northern Ireland Under 16s and England Under 16’s on Sky Sports 2.

He has gone on to present more live football on Sky Sports including England national under-21 football team matches and Republic of Ireland national football team internationals.

Pete has also presented live Currie Cup rugby union.
