David McDaid is an Olympic sports reporter for BBC Sport.

He joined the BBC as a researcher in 2006, before coming a broadcast journalist in 2008, and a sports reporter in 2014.

David studied at the University of Glasgow; Masters of Arts, French and Hispanic Studies; and at the University of Strathclyde; Journalism.
