David Eades currently presents the 12pm-4pm GMT shift on BBC World most weekdays.
Prior to this, David presented The World Today, also on BBC World. David joined BBC World in 2003 from BBC News 24, where he had a brief spell as a presenter. Prior to this, David spent over a decade as a frontline news correspondent for BBC TV and Radio.
David was the BBC’s Europe Correspondent for five years from 1994, covering stories from the Bosnian war to the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, as well as all the main developments of the European Union. He also spent periods as Northern Ireland Correspondent and as Sports Correspondent.
A keen sportsman, David enjoys golf, tennis and running.
