Dave Clark

Dave Clark is a former lead presenter of Sky Sports’ Darts and Boxing coverage.

Dave joined Sky Sports News at the launch of the channel in 1998, after nine years working for Capital Radio.

A member of Capital Gold’s Sony award-winning football team, Dave also covered both the 1992 Barcelona and 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, Euro ’96 and was Capital’s ‘Voice of Wimbledon’.

During his spell at Capital he interviewed everyone from Linford Christie and Chris Boardman after their gold medal successes at the 1992 Olympics to Jurgen Klinsmann and Paolo Maldini. He also presented the evening programme ‘The Dave Clark Show’ and the nightly soccer phone-in ‘Capital Gold Sportstime’.

Dave remains a popular presenter on Sky Sports News and has also spent a year hosting the football phone-in ‘You’re on Sky Sports’. Dave has also presented darts, snooker, and pool and guest presented Soccer Saturday and Soccer AM.

A passionate fan of all sports, Dave adores his beloved Leeds United and watches them play as much as possible.

Dave is a keen golfer, who once won a competition to play golf at the most extreme courses, having played at the world’s highest and lowest courses – one in Bolivia the other in the Nevada desert.

His other hobbies are diving and travelling and he loves to combine the two to visit exotic destinations such as the Maldives and the Great Barrier Reef.
