Sky News Radio

Sky and Chrysalis Radio have announced plans to launch a 24-hour news radio service on the soon to be awarded second commercial national digital multiplex.

The service, to be known as ?Sky News Radio? is intended to be launched next year, if the bid is successful.

Chrysalis Radio?s existing London rolling news station, LBC News 1152 AM, will also be incorporated into the joint venture, and will be rebranded as ?Sky News Radio for London.?

?Sky News Radio? will also be made available via the internet and Sky?s digital satellite platform in due course.
