“Just struck me that I’ll be leaving GB News in exactly a month from today [28 Aug] so thought I might as well let you guys know,” Addison posted on X.

Contrary to online reports, Addison did not apply for nor was he offered voluntary redundancy. In fact, he was offered another role with a different broadcaster.
Prior the joining GB News, Addison spent 12 years in the Middle East working as a producer and news anchor on Emirates News.
He also hosted Dubai One’s live coverage of the signing of the historic peace treaty between the UAE and Israel and the launch of the UAE Hope Probe to Mars.
For ten years he hosted talk radio shows for Dubai Eye 103.8 where he was on air to cover minute by minute reaction to the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.
More recently, Addison, who specialises in US politics, provided live reaction to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump and coverage of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

Ofcom has today fined GB News £100,000 for breaking due impartiality rules. An investigation found that an appropriately wide range
