Sky News as announced changes to its line-up of senior correspondents as part of its drive to increase newsgathering resources.

Sky’s long-standing Russian correspondent, Geoff Meade, is returning from Moscow and will be replaced by Laurence Lee, who has been promoted from reporter.

Geoff will return to the UK in October to take-up the post of Royal and Defence Correspondent.

Laurence will travel to Moscow at the end of August for a two-month handover with Geoff.

Senior reporter David Bowden has been promoted to London Correspondent and will cover top stories in the UK and worldwide.
His promotion is with immediate effect.
