Channel 4 has extended its Election Night programme.

It will now run until 9am on Friday 5th July.

The show will be fronted by Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Emily Maitlis and include The Rest is Politics podcast hosts Alastair Campbell and Rory Stewart.

Channel 4 also announced that broadcaster and mathematics professor Hannah Fry will replace Clare Balding, who had to pull out of the programme due to her Wimbledon commitments.

Kwasi Kwarteng, Nadim Zahawi, Harriet Harman, Vince Cable, Mhairi Black, and Ann Widdecombe will also pop up during the night.
