Reeta Chakrabarti will presents BBC One’s live coverage of the King’s speech from the Palace of Westminster following this month’s General Election this morning (17th July).

The unique combination of pageantry and politics marks the formal start of the new session of Parliament, as King Charles outlines the new Government’s plans for the coming year.
