World Cup 2018 continues this afternoon as the final round of group stage fixtures get underway.

From now till Thursday, the BBC and ITV will broadcast two games, at the same time, from one Group. For example, ITV will broadcast the final two fixtures from Group A on ITV and ITV4 from 3.00pm this afternoon, while the BBC will show the final two games in Group B from 7.00pm on BBC One and BBC Four this evening.

This will continue until Thursday, where the final games in Group G and Group H are played.

The first of these games take place at the Samara Arena, where Russia host Uruguay in Group A.

These two sides were the first to clinch qualification for the last 16 after both securing victories over Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

However, it is the hosts who have looked the more convincing, thrashing the Saudis 5-0 and beating the African outfit 3-1, while Uruguay could only manage 1-0 victories in both contests.

Coverage begins at 2.30pm on ITV and ITV HD, where Mark Pougatch is joined in the studio by Martin O’Neill, Henrik Larsson, and Slaven Bilic.

Match commentary comes from Sam Matterface and Lee Dixon.

Kick-off 3.00pm

The match will also be streamed live via the ITV Hub.
