England get their 2019 Rugby World Cup campaign underway this morning as they take on Tonga.
This Pool C match takes place at the Sapporo Dome in Japan, and will be shown live on ITV.
Eddie Jones’ men recorded some impressive results in warm-up matches against Wales and Ireland, and will be expecting nothing less than a comfortable victory against a Tongan side that lost 92-7 to New Zealand earlier this month.
However, the World Cup has sprung up a number of shock results over the year, and England will be eager to avoid complacency with tougher fixtures on paper to follow against France and Argentina.
Mark Pougatch will be live on ITV and ITV HD from 10.45am, where he will be joined in the studio by Jonny Wilkinson, Clive Woodward and Lawrence Dallaglio.
Reports come from David Flatman, while Nick Mullins, Ben Kay and Ugo Monye provide match commentary.
The match will also be streamed live via the ITV Hub. Highlights will be shown on ITV4 from 7pm this evening.
