Nina Hossain is set to replace Katie Derham as co-presenter of London Tonight.
Nina, who has spent the last few years as relief presenter on London Tonight will continue to present the occasional ITV News bulletin.
Nina, who will present alongside Donal MacIntyre said: “Having spent several happy years working for ITN, I’m delighted to join ITV London Tonight as a main newscaster.
“I’ve already presented a number of programmes with Donal and look forward to us being the news team that up to a million Londoners see in their living rooms every night.”
Katie announced in April she will leave ITN to present the BBC?s coverage of the Proms for BBC2 and Radio 3. Her last shift will be on June 24th.
Faye Nickolds, editor of ITV London Tonight, said: “While we’re very sad to see Katie leave London Tonight, it’s fantastic to have an impressive successor in Nina.”
