Megyn Kelly is to leave Fox News for NBC News.
The 46-year-old who achieved national fame for her coverage of the 2016 presidential campaign will join NBC News in a new role, according to The New York Times.
She’ll take on a “triple role” at the network – hosting a daytime news and discussion show, presenting a Sunday night news show, and being a central part of the network’s special coverage of politics and other big events.
Megyn’s contract is not officially up until the summer, and it’s unclear whether Fox News would refuse to release her from any contractual commitments that might delay her start at a rival.
