Philip Avery presents the Weather across all of the BBC’s news outlets.

Philip’s broadcasting career began with the launch of The Weather Network in Birmingham in 1996. Within a few months Philip moved to London to work on The Weather Channel.

He joined the BBC Weather Centre in April 1998, working mainly on BBC World. He now presents across all BBC channels and regularly appears on BBC One.

Philip left the BBC Weather Centre temporarily in 2004-2005 to take part in the Global Challenge 2004-2005.
