Adrian Finighan is currently a News presenter for Al Jazeera English, based in Doha.
From 2006-2010 Finighan worked as a news and business presenter for CNN International in London.
Prior to this, Adrian worked as a relief presenter on both BBC News 24 and BBC World.
Adrian joined the BBC in 1988 as a radio producer and presenter. He then started presenting national radio bulletins in 1991 and then moved to the Business unit in 1994 to present World Business Report. He then became BBC World’s North America Business Correspondent before becoming one of BBC World’s regular anchors in 1998.
Adrian also provided the commentary for corporate documentaries, is the announcer for several BBC TV programmes, including Lily Savage’s “Blankety Blank” and Ronan Keating’s “Get Your Act Together”, and was occasionally be heard reading national radio news in the UK on BBC Radio 2. He was also “The Voice of BBC World.”
Adrian lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and two children.
