BBC Match of the Day running order on 21 December 2024

The running order for tonight’s Match of the Day is as follows:

1: Crystal Palace v Arsenal; 2: Aston Villa v Manchester City; 3: Brentford v Nottingham Forest.

4: Ipswich Town v Newcastle United; 5: West Ham United v Brighton & hove Albion.

Gary Lineker will be live on BBC One and BBC One HD from 10.30pm, where he will be joined in the studio by Alan Shearer and Ashley Williams.

The programme will be repeated on the same channel from 8.05am on Sunday morning, and will be made available on the BBC iPlayer from 7.00pm on Sunday Night.

Five games will take place on Sunday afternoon as Fulham host Southampton at 2.00pm, and Liverpool travel to Tottenham Hotspur from 4.30pm – both live on Sky Sports.

Everton host Chelsea, Wolves travel to Leicester City, and Manchester United take on Bournemouth at 2pm in non-televised games.

Highlights of all five games will air on BBC’s Match of the Day 2 at 10.30pm, Sunday night on BBC One.

The next round of fixtures take place on Boxing Day with a special edition of MOTD from 10.40pm on BBC One.
