TVNZ 7 is commercial-free “factual” channel that launched at Midday on Sunday March 30 2008.

News makes up 30% of the programming, and the remaining 70% is a mixture of documentaries, sports and current affairs programmes.

The News component includes 10 minute news bulletins on the hour, every hour, as well as an hour-long news bulletin at 8pm.
