About ABC News

ABC News and Current Affairs is the division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation responsible for its news output across genres classified as news, public affairs, business, and finance on television, radio and the internet.

On TV it is responsible for a broad range of programmes including on weekdays Midday Report, Lateline,

Lateline Business and Australia Wide, as well as the seven state editions of ABC News shown seven days a week. In the Asia-Pacific region the Australia Network carries three seperate Australia Network News Bulletins as well as current affairs program Focus on weeknights (seen Sunday mornings on ABC TV as Asia Pacific Focus).
